From I-5 NorthboundFrom I-5 North, take Exit #165 Seneca Street on the west/left side of I-5. Get into the right lane of the exit ramp and turn right at the first light onto 6th Avenue. At the next light, turn right onto University Street, staying left of the concrete median (the lanes to the right of the median will put you back onto I-5). Follow around to the left and you’ll see signs directing you to parking for One and Two Union Square. Floyd|Snider is located in Two Union Square, Suite 600.
From I-5 Southbound

Scientist/Geologist or Environmental Engineer, Mid LevelFloyd|Snider has an opening in our Seattle office for a Scientist/Geologist or Environmental Engineer with 3 to 5 years experience in environmental consulting or related field.
Responsibilities:
· Developing environmental investigation work plans focused on sediment, soil, and groundwater media.
· Field investigation work, including subcontractor and laboratory coordination and preparation
· Data interpretation and management
· Report preparation
· Support to senior technical staff, including research and analyses on a variety of environmental topics
· Communicating with project managers and clients
Qualifications:
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in physical or environmental sciences or environmental engineering, preferably master’s degree
· 3-5 years experience in environmental consulting or comparable experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing sample required)
· Enjoy working as a member of project teams, but also have the independence and confidence to lead field investigation efforts
· Experience working within the Washington state environmental regulatory framework(s)
· Experience with environmental sample collection methodologies, preferably in multiple medias.
· Enjoy being in the field, sometimes for several days in a row depending on project needs
