Floyd|Snider provides litigation support for a confidential client in California. Floyd|Snider designed and executed a sediment sampling and analysis plan to determine sources of copper present in urban harbor sediments. In addition to conducting standard analytical techniques in a tiered approach, forensic mineralogy analysis was performed to distinguish closely related copper sources. Floyd|Snider assisted with data interpretation which successfully delineated multiple overlapping sources, including stormwater, shipyard, and sources related to copper ore handling. Additional work by Floyd|Snider involved participation in mediation sessions and legal strategy.
