Ecology Low Impact Development (LID) Recommendations

Floyd|Snider is assisting Ecology in responding to a Pollution Control Hearings Board (PCHB) ruling requiring the inclusion of Low Impact Development (LID) standards into the Municipal Stormwater General Permits. Floyd|Snider is providing facilitation and documentation services for Ecology's eight month stakeholder process to develop recommendations from two advisory committees: a technical advisory committee and an implementation advisory committee. At the end of the process, Ecology will produce draft permit updates for formal public comment. Ecology also expects to incorporate these standards in the Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington.

Floyd|Sndier is facilitating the recommendation process that includes Ecology staff  and industry members with planning, policy making and requlatory expertise. The advisory committee meetings are open to the public with specific times on the agenda for public input. More information on the LID committee meetings can be found on Ecology's website: http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/wq/stormwater/municipal/LIDstandards.html
